A microtopping floor can be installed over underfloor heating without any problem. Moreover, the material absorbs heat quickly and releases it well. Even without underfloor heating, a microtopping floor feels comfortable because it quickly adopts the ambient temperature.

Microtopping has perfect adhesion even to surfaces with underfloor heating. Microtopping has a thermal conductivity value of λ = 0.46.

Important:

Before installing a microtopping floor in a new construction home, the underfloor heating must have run at least one cycle (once fully warmed up and once fully cooled down).

When the microtopping is effectively applied to the floor, the underfloor heating should be completely off so that the drying process of the microtopping can take place optimally, not too quickly and naturally.
